Ever wanted to make your own tarot or Oracle deck?
Come see The Social Hermit studio and DIY Destiny will help you make your own magic, be inspired, or just get funky and quirky with Tarot cards. Either way, you're having fun!
We use collage materials, stamps, stickers, markers, whatever you can find to create fun and playful takes on tarot and oracle cards. Make your own meanings or just play with new ideas.
If making a whole deck is too overwhelming, then make a contribution to the community deck, which we are building to print for everyone involved!
We'll be making this a social one, bring friends or come alone and make some new ones.

The Social Hermit welcomes you to join us for a social evening of connection and creative fun. In today's society, it seems everywhere you look, there is alcohol, despite knowing it is bad for our health and mental well-being. This can end up isolating and excluding folks who may have experienced AOD issues in the past, making it challenging to engage in social situations.
Join us for a casual evening of fireside chats (weather permitting), grafts, games, arts and snacks right in the heart of Northbridge. We all know you can still have fun without the booze! We will have a variety of art materials and crafty things to have a go with or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
This series of four events is just the beginning, we hope this event will grow and develop to continue building a community of sober folks.
The Social Hermit aims to build a community space where everyone is welcome and feels a sense of belonging.

Welcome to the Social Hermit where almost anything goes!
Get dressed up and get excited! We welcome everyone of all skills and abilities to have a good go at using different materials for this queer and quirky life drawing event!
Dress to impress and you might even get a chance to model for the audience! With short flash poses, create some chaotic and messy art with materials you may have never tried before. Go above and beyond with your imagination and extend your creativity into queer realms never explored before.
We supply all the materials unless you want to bring your own, and all the accessories required for a fun, chaotic and queer time!
If you want to stick around after the event we also run a Sober Saturdays casual social night where you can continue your art piece and continue to meet other Social Hermits.
There are no skills required, and there will be strictly no nudity at this event.
We welcome neurodivergent folks, people with psycho-social disabilities, First Nations, BIPOC and gender queer folx, we have a diverse community so we ask that you leave judgement at the door and enter with an open mind.
