Upcoming Sessions

Cancellation Policy

We welcome people from all backgrounds, including those with lived experiences of mental health challenges, disability, and social marginalisation. 1. Respect for Others All members are expected to treat others with kindness, dignity, and empathy at all times. We understand that everyone’s mental health journey is different — judgment, gossip, or discrimination about another person’s experiences will not be tolerated. Personal information shared by others in the studio must remain confidential. Members must not pressure others to share personal stories or experiences. 2. Behaviour Expectations Aggressive, threatening, or intimidating behaviour (verbal or physical) is not acceptable. Disruptive, abusive, or discriminatory language or actions may result in suspension or removal from the program. Members must respect staff guidance and studio boundaries, including group guidelines set for each session. 3. Communication and Conflict If a conflict arises, members are encouraged to seek support from a facilitator or staff member rather than confronting others directly. Staff may pause or end a session if behaviour becomes unsafe or distressing for others. Respectful disagreement is welcome; personal attacks or hostility are not. 4. Personal Wellbeing and Responsibility Members are encouraged to care for their own mental health and take breaks if feeling overwhelmed. Staff are not crisis counsellors. In an emergency or mental health crisis, members may be referred to appropriate support services. Members should inform staff if they are feeling unsafe or uncomfortable so we can support them appropriately. 5. Boundaries Healthy boundaries are essential in maintaining a safe and professional space. Members should not engage in romantic, financial, or caregiving relationships with other participants or staff. The studio is a shared, creative environment — please use it for artmaking and connection, not as a counselling space. 6. Consequences for Breaches If a member’s behaviour breaches this policy: They will be given a verbal reminder and an opportunity to adjust their behaviour. Continued breaches may result in a written warning or temporary suspension. Serious breaches (such as violence, harassment, or ongoing boundary violations) may result in termination of membership. 7. Commitment By joining the studio, members agree to: Uphold this policy and contribute to a safe, creative, and respectful community.
